My Daily Thoughts

        It comes to time to review what I've done throughout the last year. Movement control order has been implemented since March 2020, which influenced school activities and online learning has started since then. The fact that students need to study from home brings both brownie points and downsides. The advantages are plenty, which I guess had outweighed the disadvantages, some of the worth mentioning points are better learning experience, convenience since dress-up isn't essential when attending virtual classes, talks and workshops are way more reachable than before since time is much flexible now and the attendance is just a button away. Nevertheless, the disadvantages are noticeable too, some of which are more crucial, including sufferings of certain level of loneliness and helplessness because of distancing between friends, friends aren't met with each other as often as it used to be, communication becomes tougher over the phones, facing laptops for excessive duration can cause eyes pain, back sore, difficulty to concentrate and many others.

        Anyhow, life keeps going and it is actually pointless to complain too much about it, working it out and challenge it will be more interesting and productive. I've been working in my parent's restaurant as an occasional helper since midst of Nov'21 and I also attended some virtual workshops and talks during this semester break. I found out that this kind of hybrid lifestyle introduced a better balanced work-life interception, where working boosts physical wellbeing since it involves many body movement and learning promotes brain developments and widens knowledge. The school will start next week on 18 Jan, it'll be a new beginning for me since I've escaped from my comfort zone and disconnected myself from my group of friends, I'm not taking the same subjects of my friends. By utilizing this opportunity, I wish I could expose to more innovative fellows and others, I also hope than I could be more responsible for my own educational performance. Lastly, I adopted a new beta fish from my sister, I haven't given her a name yet, and in fact I ain't planning to give her one, since she is the only pet I have, I'll always only refer to her whenever I state "my pet".
